Sheldon had been living outside before he came to Tabby’s Place. At least partially because of this, he is very shy right now. He’ll hiss at you if you extend a hand toward him, but you can still pet him if you’re gentle and move slowly. At least until he learns to trust us a little more, Sheldon will require a quiet environment, and we think a home without small children would be best for him.

Physically, Sheldon is stunning; there’s no other word for it. He’s a very large male with long orange fur and amber eyes. He has mo medical issues of which we’re aware, and our best guess is that he was born in August of 2013.

It seems that Sheldon’s experience with people to date has been less than optimal. We hope that will change with some time and effort. If you have the patience and a big enough heart to bring this boy into a "forever" home where he can be cherished just as he is, do come in to meet him.
