Little more than a baby (she’s only about a year old) Serena is a cute brown tabby with just a bit of white on her tummy and a somewhat pointy face. She’s new to Tabby’s Place but has adjusted quickly to her surroundings, going from a very shy girl to a much more outgoing, affection-seeking feline in only a couple of weeks.
Serena’s sister and sister-tabby, Venus, is in the same room. However, the two do not seem particularly close and need not be adopted together. We believe Serena would be an ideal companion cat for a wide range of households; come in to find out if yours is one of them!
Update: Serena may well make a good lap cat…someday…if she can stop moving long enough! She likes human company and, if you sit down, will likely come over and lie down next to your right leg. Then she might curl up next to you, with her two front paws on you. Then she’ll walk over you and settle down (briefly) on your left side. She’s an active girl, appropriate enough for a young cat. Serena does not appreciate being picked up and will squirm to be put down if you do so. Suitemate Oreo seems to get along well with her, and will groom her if she comes near him.
