Tabby’s Place periodically experiences “color waves”, where the majority of cats who come in to the facility will be of one particular color or pattern. We’ve been having a Black-and-White Wave for a couple of months now, and Sassafras is one of our newer black-and-white cats. She’s of medium size, with white whiskers, a tiny white mustache, white paws, and a white chest. Our best guess is that she was born in November of 2009; she’s healthy as far as we can determine.

Sassafras is a shy girl, but then, as I say, she’s new to us. We’re hopeful that she’ll become more interactive with people if we just give her a little more time.
