Sarafina is a beautiful, young (about 6 years old as of 1/10), all-black female. She’s got very soft fur, and has a charming, rather round face. Sarafina has come a long way in a short time. Initially rather reclusive, she now runs up for petting when you enter her suite. She’ll still need some patience from an adopter, as she can be skittish, and it’s important to know that she really dislikes being picked up and carried at this point.

We’re delighted with the excellent progress Sarafina has made in just a few weeks, and we’re confident she’ll continue to do better with people…but we believe she’d do best in a home environment! So, if you are looking for a sweet cat to join your quite, multi-cat household, please consider this darling girl.
