Sabrina

Wait until you meet this love bug! We estimate that Sabrina was born in late September of 2008. She’s white and brown tabby coloration, including a brown tabby nose, patches of tabby coloration over her ears, and a brown tabby upper back half, with a proper tabby tail. While a kitten, Sabrina was found by herself, underweight, dehydrated, and with a severely mangled left front leg. We got her to the emergency vet immediately, but the leg had to be amputated. After that operation, Sabrina recovered quickly and well, and she was swiftly adopted.

Sabrina did beautifully in her new home, and her adopters were happy with her sweet nature. She lived happily with three other cats and two dogs. But then several things happened at once. One of the dogs pased away suddenly, the adopters had a child, and they brought in a new feral cat—and didn’t introduce the cats properly. Sabrina became aggessive with the new cat (and only the new cat) and started urinating outside her litter box. Eventually, Sabrina was returned to us.

Right now, Sabrina is rather unnerved—understandable, considering that she’s in an environment she’s not at all used to. She is invariably happy to be around people, though, and is a great cuddler. She loves to lick chins and give head-butts, and she’ll climb into your lap and snuggle with you, purring all the while. Sabrina can jump somewhat; she manages to jump onto chairs all the time here. Obviously, however, she MUST LIVE INDOORS ONLY.

Sabrina has no health issues that we know of. If you’ve been looking for a new best friend, allow us to recommend this sweet girl.
