Rumor is a funny black-and-white female, about 7 years of age according to our best estimate (as of 1/09). She has a symmetrical white blaze on her face, with a big patch of white on her chest; all four paws are white, too. The rest of her coat is black. Unusually, inside her black ears, there’s a fringe of white fur, a very cute effect.

Rumor is still settling in to her new quarters. She’s generally a sweet girl, but she’s still skittish with us. Because of this, we’re recommending that she not go to a home with small children, but that may change in the future once she’s settled down a little more. Meantime, she’s a healthy cat (as far as we know), quite active, who’s looking for a home with an adopter who can help bring her out of her shell.
