Ruby was probably born at the beginning of 1997. She’s missing her right eye and may be deaf. She was living as a barn cat when we found out about her; the owners of the barn are moving and had planned to euthanize her within a couple of weeks.

Ruby has brown tabby patches over her head and back, and one very broad darker stripe over the exact middle of her head. She has a tabby tail, too; the rest of her coat is white. In general, she’s been very mellow with us, but she does not seem to like other cats.
