Ruby
Cats specialize in being individualists, but Ruby might just take the cake! She’s a lovely orange tabby, with pale yellow-green eyes and white whiskers. Ruby is about 2 years old, as far as we can judge. She has a severe head-tilt, probably idiopathic (that means it’s likely from a former infection; there’s nothing to do for it, and we don’t expect it to become any worse with time).
Ruby is very sweet with people and can be quite vocal. She adores other cats, but she can be too intense with them. For whatever reason, she doesn’t pick up on any “Hey, keep away from me!” signals. So, she would not be a good companion for shy or nervous felines, as she’d simply overwhelm them. We do think she’d be fine with most other cats, however, as long as there were proper introductions.
We don’t see orange female tabbies very often, and especially not orange female tabbies who are this good with people. If you’re thinking about more feline companionship in your life, come in to meet our Ruby!
