It’s difficult to miss Rhubarb when you walk into Tabby’s Place. He’s easily our biggest cat. Then again, we know he’s a Maine Coon, so there’s good reason for his size. He also has a beautiful orange-and-white coat and a reputation for being a good-tempered, gentle boy. He’s about six years of age.
Rhubarb is one of our Special Needs crew. He has had chronic diarrhea for some time, and he continues to have that here. While we are trying different diets, medications, and combinations of the two, those take time to work, and Rhubarb hasn’t been here long enough for us to try everything yet.
We understand that Rhubarb’s diarrhea greatly diminishes his chances of adoption, but we also know there are people in this world with very big hearts. If you’re one of those people, we encourage you to come in to meet our new Maine Coon—just don’t be surprised if you fall under his spell!
