Pixie

Pixie is a small female. In comparison to some of the big cats we have here, she looks positively tiny! Nevertheless, she’s full-grown; our best guess is that she was born in May of 2007, so she’s a young cat. She’s a pretty little lady, too, with her tabby-orange-and-white fur. She has a large orange patch over her head, a large orange “freckle” on her nose, and an orange tabby tail; most of the rest of her coat is white. As far as we can determine, she has no health issues.

Pixie is quite scared right now, but the shelter from which she came to us noted that she was “very friendly”. We take that as a positive sign and think she’ll come around once she’s had a while to settle in.

Update: Now that Pixie has had time to adjust to her new life at Tabby’s Place, she’s become a most affectionate cat. Not yet confident enough to approach people, Pixie waits in a safe place for visitors. Once you approach and begin petting her she immediately begins purring and rolling over happily to expose her belly.
