Little Pita is only a baby; she’s just about 8 weeks old as of this writing (the very end of September, 2009). She’s a cute little girl, an all-black shorthair. Pita has a club foot on her right hind leg. This doesn’t appear to bother her at all. We had thought it might be necessary to amputate, but a consultation with a specialist surprised us. The specialist said there was nothing to do for the leg unless it was painful; one look at Pita galloping around our lobby, however, and you can tell immediately that this just isn’t the case!

While Pita is friendly and seems to get along with everyone, she is very attached to her two littermates, Tabouli and Hummus. Because of this, we would strongly prefer she be adopted with one of them.
