Persephone

Persehone is an exotic-looking tabby with light and dark brown tabby stripes and the occasional orange patch throughout. The cutest of which extends the full length of her nose–truly adorable!

Persephone was found as a stray in a bad neighborhood along with her six siblings. Fortunately, this adorable family was rescued and they all made their way to Tabby’s Place. Initially, they were very scared, and it was obvious that they hadn’t had much contact with humans–not in a positive sense anyway. From the moment they arrived the staff here worked diligently to socialize these kittens and happily they have all been adopted as a result except for Persephone.

She was always the most cautious of the bunch, but the transformation she has made over the past few months has been miraculous! She now loves people and looks forward to having visitors. She will often mew and roll around flirtatiously to gain a person’s attention. She enjoys being held and getting belly rubs. Her timid side surfaces only now and again when she is faced with a stranger or unfamiliar noise, but overall she has become a wonderful, little cat.

She would make a loving, loyal companion for a patient adopter with a quiet home. If you think you might be a good match for this sweet girl, please stop in to see her.
