Handsome Parker has medium-length fur that’s very soft, especially on his tummy. He’s mostly black, with white on all four paws, a white blaze on his chest, white whiskers, and a funny little white mark just under his nose.

Update: Parker has come a very long way since he came to us. From being a retiring, very frightened boy, he’s gradually come out of his shell and now competes for attention when you enter his suite. We’ve found that he loves to be brushed softly, and he seems to get along nicely with other cats. Parker doesn’t like to be carried, however, and he can be fearful if objects are pushed toward him.

Although Parker is not nearly as timid as he once was, we still believe he’d do best in a quieter home, so he needs an environment with no small children. He’s a young cat, about 2 years old, we believe, and we think he’ll blossom further into a loving, faithful companion for the right person or family.
