Pantera

Walk into Suite B, and chances are that a brown tabby will come zipping over to you, looking for attention. To make absolutely sure you know he’s there, he’ll rub against your legs and meow repeatedly. This is Pantera. Although he’s new in his suite, you’d never guess it; he’s been completely friendly with us, and even with other cats, since his arrival. He’s already climbed into a few laps, and he appears to like just about everybody. In fact, when he was being fostered in a private home for a brief while, he got along with dogs, too. He was confined in a room behind a baby gate. He jumped the gate, immediately ran over to the family’s big St. Bernard, and began rubbing on him! We can’t be sure Pantera would act the same way toward all dogs, of course, but it’s a further demonstration of his good nature.

Pantera is a medium-sized brown tabby with rather a square-looking head. He’s about four years old at this writing (mid-December, 2010) and is a healthy boy as far as we know.

We always think tabbies are special, but even among our crowd of tabby cats, Pantera stands out for his personality. Come in to meet our sweet boy!
