Oliver

Oliver is a handsome orange tabby male, with a little white under his chin. Our best guess is that he was born in or around February of 2010, so he’s a young cat.

Oliver is “head-shy”, as our vet tech calls it. This means that he’s wary of human hands around his head. That’s not a surprise, as he’s had more than his fair share of eye problems and was in a lot of pain from this for some time. When Oliver came to us he had a severe case of conjunctivitis that his foster parents were having little luck getting under control. After an extensive course of antibiotics Oliver’s conjunctivitis has resolved; although, it’s important to note that he may be more prone to issues with his eyes in the future.

Oliver was also quite timid with us at first. Now that he’s had some time to settle down, and we no longer have to medicate him, he’s become quite sweet. He does still startle easily at loud noises and sudden movements, however. With cats, though, he’s much more comfortable. He adores the other cats in his suite.

If you are looking for a striking orange boy to join your quite, multi-cat home, please consider this sweet boy.
