It took about two days for most of the Tabby’s Place staff to fall helplessly in love with Nelson, but it’s easy to understand why. He’s very playful, but that’s typical for a cat his age (we believe he was born in mid-July of 2013). He’s cute as a button, too. He’s black-and-white, but, while most cats like this have a black nose, Nelson has a broad stripe of white down his nose, with just a hint of black at the tip. He also has white hind socks, white front paws, and a white chin/chest/tummy. He has no medical issues of which we are aware.

But what really tipped the scales in Nelson’s favor is his personality. He just likes people. He enjoys being fussed over and even likes to be held, and he’s a gentle cat, too. The combination has been more than the staff can resist, and small wonder; this is one great cat.

All this boy needs is a forever home, and we predict he’ll find it quickly, considering everything he has going for him. If you’re looking for a genuine BFF for the new year, do come in to meet our Nelson.
