It’s hard to tell whether Mystic should be classified as a large or an extra large brown tabby. Honestly, her frame isn’t that big, but she really is too chunky right now. Mystic was adopted from Tabby’s Place previously and returned through no fault of her own; her owner ran into serious financial troubles and could no longer afford to keep her.

Mystic loves the company of people and tends to be super affectionate even with people she doesn’t know. Although she’s used to living as an only cat, we think she’d do fine in a home with one or two other felines. She’s a young girl, probably born early in 2008, and she’s healthy as far as we know, except for those extra pounds.

While we’re glad this sweet girl had a place to come back to, we know she’d be better off in a loving home, where she can receive the attention she enjoys and merits (it might also be easier for her to lose weight in a home situation).
