Ms. Claudette
Orange and white cats are invariably good-looking, and Ms. Claudette is exceptionally beautiful, even for an orange and white feline. She’s very large for a female, though some of that "bulk" might be due to the fact that she’s got long fur. She has deeper orange on her chin and muzzle and nose, as well as over her head and on her back and sides. She has more orange than white in her coat, though there’s a nice balance overall.
Ms. Claudette was surrendered to a shelter by her owner, who had developed severe allergies. She had been in that home since she was a kitten (she was born sometime in 2004) and was an "only" cat. She’s had a somewhat difficult time adjusting to her suite at Tabby’s Place; she’s certainly not accustomed to being around so many other cats, and we know that has a lot to do with it. She is genuinely sweet with people, but she seems to have a short fuse. For this reason, we recommend that she not go to a home with small children. We also believe she’d do well in another situation where she’s an "only" cat.
We’re waiting for the right person or family to walk through our doors and fall in love with this beautiful girl. Could that be you?
