Monica

The biggest question about Monica is defining her coat color. With patches of orange and tabby color on her head, face, and back against a mostly white underside and tabby tail, is she a torbie or a calico? However you choose to define it, she’s just beautiful. Our best guess is that Monica was born around mid-April, 2009, so she’s really a teenager as I write this (the beginning of November of ’09). As a proper teen, Monica has a lot of energy, and she and brother Chandler love to pounce on one another and wrestle.

Monica is quite scared of people. If she’s frightened enough, she has been known to be aggressive, but this doesn’t happen often. Nonetheless, it is imperative that she go to a home with NO small children. Both Monica and Chandler are OK around other cats. While the two do not need to be adopted together, we’d like anyone considering adopting Monica to also think about taking home her brother. We know Monica would do best in a quiet home; we do not know if she would be OK around dogs.

Monica requires an undemanding adopter(s) who can spend a lot of time with her. We’re confident that the right person or couple can transform her into a more relaxed, confident, and happy girl. If you think you have what it takes, come in to see our lovely torbico!
