Sweet Molly was surrendered to Tabby’s Place along with her younger sister Courtney after their owner passed away. Molly, a blue-point Siamese, is about 14 years old (as of 1/09). She loves attention and can be quite demanding if she feels she isn’t getting her fair share. If she is in need of a little TLC, she will let out a series of very loud meows until someone gives into her wishes. In addition, she loves to be brushed and held.
Sadly, Molly is in early renal failure. At this time Molly requires subcutaneous fluids once daily and regular monitoring of her renal values for her condition. For this reason we understand that Molly is not a cat suitable for just anyone, but we are hopeful that someone will be touched by her sweet nature and be able to provide her a forever home.
Update: Molly has been displaying some mild neurological symptoms as of late. We believe that she has developed a brain tumor but, due to Molly’s fragile state, have declined further invasive tests that would lead us to a more definitive diagnosis. Currently, we are providing Molly with supportive care to make her as comfortable as possible.
