Mistletoe
You decide to go into our FIV+ suite to pet some of the cats there. You might discover, however, that Mistletoe has other ideas! This large and, truthfully, somewhat chunky girl enjoys affection. In fact, she’s quite insistent about it. She’ll do just about anything she can think of to draw attention to herself. Once you begin petting her, well, let’s just say that I hope you don’t have anything else to do for the next little while, because you’re going to be busy. Mistletoe particularly enjoys being scratched on the cheeks and chin, and she can be vocal if she thinks another feline is distracting you.
Mistletoe is almost all black except for a few white hairs on her chest. We estimate she was born in the spring of 2006. As one of our FIV+ cats, she’s a Special Needs kitty. She seems to do OK around other cats, a nice plus. If she gets overexcited from all the petting she insists upon, she will occasionally nip, but it’s never hard or done with malice.
With so many cats at Tabby’s Place competing for attention, we know we can never give Mistletoe enough to suit her. But we’re certain there’s a loving person or family out there who will take our big, silly girl into their heart(s) and home and give her all the love she could ask for.
