When Michael first came to us, he hid constantly. He was desperately frightened of everything and everyone. But over the course of a couple of months, he’s improved. You must approach him very slowly and gently, but once you start petting him, he’s very happy, purring and “kneading”. Because he’s such a gentle cat, Michael gets along wonderfully with other felines. He remains on the timid side with people, however, and, because of this, he must go to a home without small children.

Michael is an all-black male, about 9 years of age (as of 1/10), we estimate. Sadly, Michael is FIV+ positive, but he is otherwise healthy. If his condition is carefully monitored, he will most likely lead a normal, healthy life.
