Mei Li

Mei-Li is fortunate to be here. She was found outside by herself, much too young to be without her mother, and almost dead from a combination of bite wounds, dehydration, and starvation. But with the excellent care she received at Tabby’s Place, she has recovered wonderfully; you’d never know there had been anything wrong with her at all. She’s a very energetic young lady, born on or about 4/22/13. In the words of our Sanctuary Manager, Mei-Li “will play with anything”. Because she knows no fear, she MUST LIVE INDOORS ONLY. She’s not as cuddly as some other kittens, because she never stops moving.

Mei-Li is a little cutie, with a classic grey tabby tail, mackerel tabby coloring over her head and back, and mostly white undersides. Her markings are a bit unusual in that her face is nearly perfectly symmetrical. Mei-Li hasn’t been spayed at this writing (6/18/13); she’s still a bit too small, but we’ll spay her as soon as she’s big enough.

Since she came in with bite wounds, Mei-Li must be tested to see if she is FIV+. This testing should take place on or close to 7/11/13. Meantime, come in to meet this adorable little one, but only if you’re not susceptible to excessive cuteness!
