Meatball

Meatball has two features that immediately distinguish him from other cats. First, there’s his handsome black-and-white, long haired coat. He has white on his face, chest, tummy and paws; the rest of his coat is black, except for an unusual, thin, white "line" that runs all the way around him at his shoulders. If that’s not enough for you, you must see his paws; they are absolutely massive. In particular, his front paws look huge, thanks in part to some lengthy toe tufts. He’s a good-sized boy who looks even larger because of his long fur.

From the day he entered Tabby’s Place, Meatball has been good with people. He has a quiet little meow that you’ll hear occasionally. In general, he’s not fazed by other cats, either, a nice plus.

Our best guess is that this boy was born near the beginning of 2004. He is diabetic; currently, he’s receiving insulin twice per day and eating a food specifically for diabetic felines. All of that will have to continue, at least for the foreseeable future.

Given his Special Needs status, Meatball isn’t suitable for every home. But we believe there’s someone out there with a heart as big as his paws who can give our sweet boy the "forever" home he deserves. Is that you?
