Meatball
On a hot, sunny day in August, a wise sage, a royal king and a surfer dude stepped into the C Suite at Tabby’s Place for the first time. His name is Meatball.
When you enter the C Suite, he’ll saunter over, with a few of his more-excited suite mates, and hold himself close to your leg. “A good, convenient spot from which to get lots of petting,”says the wise sage in him.Perhaps you’ll wave a toy nearby that the other cats are immediately drawn to. “I don’t play with peasant toys,” shrugs the royal king.Should a jealous roomate swat at him, the surfer dude purrs “Whoa, chill out,” with no interest in retaliation.
This handsome gentleman has it all. He’s great with people and cats. He is wise and regal, with the soul of a mindful zen master, kind and gentle.
Meatball also has diabetes, which requires him to eat a special diet and get two insulin shots per day. Thankfully, his easy-going nature makes the shots a breeze to administer.
His age and medical condition could make the search for the right forever home a bit more challenging.Luckily, diabetes can be successfully managed with proper treatment and home care, and a diabetic cat can live many healthy years.
He’s so mellow and accepting, it’s hard to believe this handsome guy found himself in a shelter. Our long-haired lovebug brings joy to everyone he meets, and we know he would do great in the right forever home.
Meanwhile, we’ll continue to give him the love and care he needs and enjoys, and marvel at his wildly furry toes. By sponsoring this beautiful boy, your support can help us provide for his ongoing medical needs.
