Martina

Martina, one of a litter of three (also including Keith and Reba), is a pretty, paler brown tabby. Martina’s face looks a little fox-like to me, perhaps because her ears are on the large side. We estimate that these kittens were born near the end of April, 2011. Although she can be a little timid at first, Martina warms up to people quickly. She’s the most outgoing of her litter, and she’s extremely playful. The first time I met Martina, I picked her up and put her on my lap. She seemed fine with the idea of staying there while I stroked her—until her attention got distracted by my pen. Then, of course, it was playtime!

There are times when Martina’s eyes are slightly watery. This is caused by mild adhesions in the eyes, in which the third eyelid adheres to the conjunctiva, probably the result of a stubborn upper respiratory infection when she was younger. She’s perfectly well now, and the condition doesn’t bother her in the slightest, nor is there anything to do for it.

Note that Martina, Reba, and Keith need not be adopted together. Come in to check out these pretty young’uns.
