It’s easy to tell that Lincoln has had good experiences with people in his past. While he’s a little shy around the other cats in his suite right now, he lets you know quickly that he likes people, even if he’s never seen you before. He’s a medium-to-large size boy, with white on all four paws. He also has white on his chest, chin, and tummy; the remainder of his coat is grey swirl tabby, except for his classic tabby-striped tail. Lincoln is given to carrying his tail flat over his back, a habit we find irresistible. He has a particularly expressive face, as well.

We know that Lincoln was born in mid-September of 2010. He’s healthy as far as we can determine. He also seems to be quite a character. I opened the cabinet in his suite to look for something, and in a flash he was up on the sink, rubbing on the faucet. I turned the faucet on so a trickle of water was coming from it, and he happily drank from the faucet for several minutes before breaking off to groom his wet head.

Our Sanctuary Manager characterizes Lincoln as "sweet and gentle". We know it won’t be long before the right person comes through our doors looking for Lincoln—could that be you?
