Lily

Here’s a sweetheart for you! Lily is a beautiful tabby-orange-and-white female, with white on all four paws, a white blaze on her chest, and a white tummy. Her tail, which starts out orange striped, ends up white with orange striping. The shelter from which she came to us noted that Lily “loves to cuddle” and bump her head on people.

Lily, one of our Special Needs crew, has a history of soft stools and improper use of her litter box. This is probably due to what had been undiagnosed inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), also not uncommon in people. At present, Lily is using the litter box consistently and does not have any obvious symptoms of IBD. We’re thrilled that she’s doing so well and she too seems much happier. She’s much friendlier than she was initially, and will now actively seek attention, occasionally squeaking at you if you don’t pay enough attention to her.
