Kirk

Kirk is a large, stocky boy who looks like a tough guy—but he’s really a big mush. He’s brown-grey tabby over most of his coat, but with white on his muzzle, chest, tummy, whiskers, and legs, plus a funny little white stripe on his nose. Kirk is one of our two newest FIV+ cats, but he took no time at all to warm up to us. I had never met him before I went into the FIV+ suite to get his description, but that made no difference to this sweet guy; he came right over to rub on my legs and ask for attention.

The shelter from which Kirk came to us describes him as “a love bug”. In addition to being genuinely fond of humans, Kirk gets along with other cats, too. He especially likes giving head butts, we’ve found. He’s been an absolute joy and is healthy with the with the exception of his FIV status. If there’s room in your heart and home for a Special Needs cat, do consider our Kirk, and help us prove that nice guys don’t have to finish last!
