Jefferson is one of our more interesting-looking cats. He’s black and white, with just a bit of white on his face and more white on his chest and tummy. One front paw is mostly black; one hind leg is mostly white. The other two paws look almost as if they’ve been painted.

This boy loves people. Start to pet him, and he’ll respond immediately. He’s also a burrower; he loves to nose his way under a blanket or towel. Jefferson is of medium size. Our best guess is that he was born in 2008.

You’ll notice that Jefferson is one of our Special Needs crew. He has a history of crystals in his urine, so he’s on a special diet for that. In addition, he has pre-cancerous lesions on his face. We are treating those with an oral medication in an attempt to get rid of them; since the treatment has started, Jefferson’s face looks much better, so we’re optimistic about this.

We understand that not everyone can take in a cat like our “Jeff”. But we also know that this boy deserves a loving, “forever” home. Think you might be able to take in a Special Needs companion? If so, we urge you to come in to meet this good-natured guy.
