Is Jabba the most inappropriately named cat at Tabby’s Place? I think he is. True, he has very large jowls, but naming him after a monster really isn’t fair, because our Jabba is a big marshmallow. He’s somewhere between large and extra large in size, and he has all-black, medium-length fur, which makes him look larger than he really is. But he’s quite timid around the other cats in his suite—he’s not aggressive with them at all; he just seems overwhelmed.
It’s a different story with people, as Jabba appears genuinely fond of us. It is important to note, however, that he does not like to be picked up, something to think about if you have young children. We believe Jabba was born toward the end of 2011, and he has no health issues that we can determine.
Given his good looks and good nature, Jabba more than merits a "forever" home, and we know he’d suit many types of households.
