In mythology, Icelus, son of Somnus, was believed to shape the dreams which came to man. If this cat shapes dreams for anyone, they’re likely to be very pleasant, at least if his personality is any indication. He’s a laid-back, very good natured boy, who likes both people and other felines. He’s also very handsome, with a deep orange and white coat. We estimate that Icelus was born early in 2007.

Icelus has a very short, somewhat malformed tail, probably the result of a genetic mutation. This same mutation is likely responsible for affecting his hind legs; at times, he actually hops like a rabbit, with both back legs working together. This doesn’t affect his ability to get around or jump (though again, he jumps like a bunny), and it doesn’t cause him any pain.
