Hamlet
Yes, we really do have a cat named "Hamlet", and the story behind his coming to us is as unusual as his name. It seems that a kind-hearted person was attempting to trap a feral cat, but they didn’t trap that cat; Hamlet showed up in the trap instead. The person who trapped him figured that he was another feral—until he started "talking" in the trap and demonstrating signs of friendliness. And friendly toward people indeed Hamlet has shown himself to be. He loves to snuggle and is very fond of human company; you can hold him, as well.
Hamlet got his name because he has been so unhappy with us. He doesn’t seem overly fond of other cats, but then he isn’t aggressive toward them either. Our belief is that he misses being in a home, as it was evident that he has lived in a house before. He’s a handsome brown and black tabby guy, on the large side. Our best guess is that he was born late in 2012, and he’s healthy as far as we can determine.
Hamlet’s story deserves a happy ending. Can you give him the "forever" home he desires so greatly?
