Gorgonzola (or Zola for short) was taken into Tabby’s Place the spring of 2011 with a litter of four kittens (all have been adopted). She’s a darker grey tabby with some white on her coat, and we believe she was born in or around the spring of 2009.

Zola was very frightened of people when she arrived. She remains afraid of humans, but she’s made definite progress in that direction; she’ll follow one of our staff around the suite for treats (we actually have a video of that), though the staffer can’t touch her yet. Zola does well around other cats and has had no issues with anyone in her suite.

It will likely take some time, but we’re confident that Zola will eventually be able to trust people, at least to an extent. For the foreseeable future, however, she should not go to a home with small children.
