Garbanzo
Garbanzo and his brother, Lentil, are the sons of Edamame, who’s also at Tabby’s Place. In fact, the boys were born just hours before arriving at Tabby’s Place on 4/5/12. Both are brown tabbies, but Garbanzo is more of a “mackerel” taby, with spots and stripes on his back and sides, while Lentil is more of a swirl tabby, with broad dark patterns on his back and sides and a spotted tummy. Both have paler amber eyes, a bit of an unusual look.
While Edamame is very frightened of us, Garbanzo and Lentil were bottle babies, so they are well-used to people. Both boys are friendly and affectionate, and, at their current age, humans can either be very large toys or comfortable furniture (or both, and often simultaneously). I sat down in their room to write a physical description of both boys and other kittens in there, and they were on my lap, chewing my pen cap, trying to drag away the piece of paper I was writing on. Sometimes one of the boys would jump off my lap to dash around the room, only to reappear at my side a minute later and jump onto my lap again. They’re healthy (as far as we can determine), very active, sweet kittens.
Because the boys get along so well, we’d like any potential adopter to seriously consider taking both home. Come in to meet this fantastic duo!
