“Gabby” is a perfect name for this talkative feline! She’s a medium-sized, mostly white girl (rather on the chunky side), with a patch of orange on her head and ears, a few orange spots on her back, and an absolutely adorable orange tabby tail. Gabby, who’s about 8 (as of 1/09), has pale green eyes, white whiskers, and a sweet pink nose, too. And talk about friendly! Gabby loves attention from people and is always ready for a little more of it—and if she doesn’t get that attention, you’ll certainly hear about it!
After a long spell of constipation issues, it was discovered that Gabby had a condition called megacolon. We do not take surgery for our cats lightly, and it was only after a number of consultations that we were convinced of the necessity for it here. Gabby ended up having most of her colon removed. But to our great joy, this resulted in a wonderful improvement for her. She came through the surgery with flying colors, and her constipation problems seem to have resolved themselves as a result. However, she does have an occasional episode of diarrhea for which she requires daily medication. Given her sweet personality, we’re confident that Gabby will find a home soon. Come in and meet our orange-and-white talker!
