There’s been a lot of speculation at Tabby’s Place about Freyja’s ancestry. She’s a shorthair, true, but her round face and very large, round eyes lead us to believe that there’s certainly some sort of purebred lineage in her background. In any case, she’s a beauty, with a dilute gray and white coat. Freyja is medium-to-large in size, and we believe that she was born early in 2008. She has no medical issues as far as we can determine.

Freyja was found living outside among a group of feral cats. Typically, feral cats are very frightened of people. Much to our surprise, Freyja was found to be sweet and gentle—so much so, in fact, that we worked with the local Animal Control Officer to trap her and bring her in.
