Some cats at Tabby’s Place are called "large" when they’re really just chunky. But that cannot be said for Freeway; he’s a large male, but he’s long, not fat. He’s a beautiful orange tabby cat. We estimate that he was born early in 2011, and he’s healthy as far as we can determine.

Freeway is nervous around us, but that’s no wonder considering that he was living outside for an unknown length of time. However, we do know that he must have had good experiences with people at some point in his life, because once he feels comfortable with you, he’ll roll on his back and put his butt in the air when you’re petting him. Note that he tends to burrow when he’s frightened, and that he is not especially good about taking pills (we had to treat a minor issue when he first came to us).

We see a lot of potential for this boy; he just needs an adopter with some patience. Could that be you?
