Our Sanctuary Manager characterizes Flash as “a wild man”. That’s not altogether unexpected, as he’s a kitten (we estimate he was born in late June, 2012). He loves to play, but he seems to love to cuddle even more; he adores people and is insistent on being near them. When he first arrived, we had him in a cage in quarantine, which is typical. But he was by himself, and he cried incessantly until we placed another young cat in his cage with him. The other cat ignored him, but Flash was happy just to be around another feline, so we think he’ll do nicely around other cats in a home environment if the proper introductions are made.

We think Flash would do best in a home with another cat or with someone who was home most of the time; he is fairly demanding about having company! Otherwise, he’s a fine, playful kitten, and of course, has that gorgeous long fur. He has no health issues of which we’re aware, and is only waiting for the right person or family to come through our doors.
