Evan is a handsome grey-tabby-and-white boy. He’s a large cat—not chunky, just a good-sized boy. Our best guess is that he was born early in 2010, and he’s healthy as far as we can determine.

Tabby’s Place invariably has several “burrowers” cats who are fond of tunneling under, well, almost anything they can. Evan is a burrower. Some of that is likely due to the fact that he’s very shy with us at present. We know he was living outside, and the transition to indoor life has not been as easy for him as it is for some cats. Evan is not aggressive in the least, and when he gets to know you, he’s cuddly and sweet. But for the time being, he’s timid with us.

We’re confident that Evan will come around; it will just take a little more time. Watch this space for updates!

Update 9/7/14: Our socializers have been working diligently with Evan, and he has made great progress since coming to Tabby’s Place in March. Evan still likes to burrow, but now he will come right out to greet visitors and is very affectionate.
