Esmeralda
Esmeralda is uniquely beautiful. She has a long, soft coat with a brown and black tabby pattern, as well as, captivating emerald eyes. But, her most striking feature is her ears. No, she’s not a Scottish Fold, although she’s just as adorable.
Prior to arriving at Tabby’s Place we believe Esmeralda suffered from chronic otitis (or inflammation of the ears) which caused her ears to develop a crumpled appearance and earned her the endearing nickname “Crunchy.”
Like so many cats, Esmeralda was found as a stray and turned into a shelter. The shelter then sent Esmeralda to Tabby’s Place due to overcrowding.
Esmeralda is a sweetheart with both cats and people. We recommend that she only go to a home that has no other cats or cats with the same condition. We hopeful, despite Esmeralda’s special needs, that she will be adopted soon as she’s such a wonderful girl.
