Elsie was found in a bad way; she had a broken femur (most likely the result of a glancing blow from a car). But she is healing beautifully, and we’re very optimistic for her chances of being able to live a normal life, as she’s a young cat (most likely born about mid-May, 2014). At this writing (12/14/14), Elsie is nearing the end of a period of cage rest.
This young lady has a mostly white coat. She has a patch of brown-gray tabby coloring over each ear, as well as a delightful tabby-striped tail. Elsie has shown herself a sweet girl with people; we don’t know how she is around other cats, simply because we have not seen her around them yet. She can be vocal, but she’s quiet about it.
We’re looking for someone to give Elsie’s sad story a happy ending. We know she’ll be a wonderful companion for the right person or family!
