How laid back and sweet-natured is Eclipse? We know she was living on the street in northern NJ for some time. We also know she ended up living in a closet for a short while. That would be more than enough to spook many felines. Yet, when Eclipse came to us and we were testing her for feline leukemia and FIV, she inched close to our Sanctuary Manager and licked her on the nose. Obviously, Eclipse is not the temperamental type.

Eclipse is almost entirely black, except for a few white hairs on her chest. We estimate that she was born at the end of 2013, and she has no medical issues as far as we can determine. She’s shown very little reaction to the other cats in her suite, so we know she can co-exist peacefully with other felines.

Because Eclipse is mostly black, we know she’s likely to be overlooked by many potential adopters. But she’s got such a great personality that we know she’d be a wonderful companion in a wide variety of home situations. Come in to meet her; we know you won’t be disappointed!
