Sweet Crystal is a tiny mite, though fully grown. We think she’s about eleven years old, in fact (as of 1/09). She’s very outgoing and good-natured with people, and she loves to be brushed (a nice bonus, as she does have medium-length fur). She has a black “cap” over her head and ears, a black tip to her chin, and a black back and tail; the rest of her coat is white. Her fur is super-soft, too.
Crystal has some scarring in both eyes. We’re not certain how that happened, but she does have some vision, though it’s hard to tell exactly how much. She has inflammatory bowel disease, too, which we’re controlling through both diet and medication (she’ll need the medication for the foreseeable future).
Clearly, Crystal is not suitable for everyone; she’ll need an adopter who can take good care of her. But she’s so deserving of a good home that we’re hopeful someone with a big heart will meet her and fall under her spell, as so many of the staff and volunteers here have done.
