Cosita

Cosita and her sister, Furball are a delightful pair of felines. They’ve been together for quite some time now, since long before they came to Tabby’s Place. In fact, these ladies were living at another shelter, in southern NJ, until Hurricane Sandy hit. After the hurricane, as has happened to so many people, the owner of that shelter found herself in financial difficulties. Eventually, Cosita and Furball found their way to us, and we’re glad they did.

Cosita is the younger of the two. We believe she was born around 2001. She’s the torbie, with patches of brown tabby, orange, and black interspersed with areas of white on her coat. She’s a little larger than Furball and a bit spunkier; there’s a bit of that torbie “cattitude” in her, but she’s not aggressive or nasty toward people.

Cosita and Furball genuinely love one another. Because of this, and because they’ve been together for a long time, these ladies MUST be adopted together; we are also stipulating that they MUST live INDOORS ONLY. We know these sweet seniors have a lot to offer the right person, and we think they’ll soon find their “forever” home.
