Coal

Can there be a nicer creature than a gentle senior feline? I’m not sure it’s possible. Our Coal is such a cat. He’s a solid black male, medium in size. He was born in January of 2007.

In 2016, it was noticed that Coal had some kind of lump in his right ear. This turned out to be a cancerous tumor, and it was removed in September of 2016. That surgery should be curative. Note, however, that his entire ear canal had to be removed, so he cannot hear in his right ear.

Coal is tentative with people at first, but he warms up to them quickly, particularly with the aid of treats! He enjoys gentle petting. We know that he can get along with some other cats. We believe Coal would be best off in a quiet home.He MUST live INDOORS ONLY.

It’s true that not everyone is in a position to adopt a senior feline. But we’re looking for someone with a big heart who can give this senior the loving home he merits.
