Clyde

Thanks to Clyde, we have a mystery on our hands. He’s an extra-large brown tabby guy with just a bit of cream color on his chin, and he’s very fond of people. Clyde was born in March of 2011, and he was adopted from us in 2012. So why is he listed as "adoptable" here, you ask? He was returned very suddenly by his adopters, who told us he had been aggressive toward the other cat in the house.

That’s the part we don’t understand, because Clyde was never like that when he was at Tabby’s Place; we had time to observe his behavior around other cats when he was with us initially, and he did well around them. We do know that his adopters let him outside when they had agreed not to do so; could that have had something to do with it? In addition, not once did they ever contact us to report any aggression on his part. They simply returned him abruptly and gave that as the reason.

Obviously, we’re puzzled right now, and we’re not certain what’s happening. We’ll watch Clyde closely; if he has indeed become aggressive around other felines, we’ll let you know that here.
