Miss Chloe is a petite girl. She’s a dilute calico with very pretty markings, having white undersides and patches of color on her head, back, and tail, with a distinct buff/orange patch over her left ear. She’s healthy as far as we can determine.

As I write this (11/16/16), Chloe is adjusting to life in our lobby. There’s often a lot of activity there, and there are certainly multiple other felines. This seems like it would be a bit much for a quiet, rather shy senior (we believe Chloe was born in late summer, 2002), but we discovered by accident that Chloe adores fur mice. When there’s no morning cleaning happening in the lobby, when there are fewer visitors, there are times when a fur mouse thrown near her can get her running and jumping about almost like a kitten. It’s incredibly cute, but more importantly, it gives us hope that, with a little more time, she’ll come out of her shell and be more responsive to the human around her.
