Chex
Our placing of Chex in the “medium” size bracket is just a guess, as he’s only a baby (about ten weeks old as of 7/27/09). Watching him gallop across our lobby or pounce on another kitten, you’d never guess he’d been in such bad shape when he came to us weeks ago. This poor little guy, a true survivor, had some sort of serious facial trauma around his mouth. The damage was so severe that our vet decided some reconstructive surgery was required. Such surgery can be risky, but the operation was a shining success; today, you can’t tell there’d ever been anything amiss. Best of all, we do not expect any repercussions from this trauma in the future.
As cute as he can be, Chex has a black tail, with black patches over his back and head (including a patch over one eye); the rest of his coat is white. He can be skittish initially, but once you start petting him, he loves the attention. Of course, at this age, he’s very active, and he needs an environment where his running, climbing, and playing aren’t a problem.
We expect this little guy to be adopted quickly. If you’ve been looking for a kitten, come in to see Chex; he might be your perfect match!
