Charlotte

Young Charlotte was brought to a shelter where she lived with many other cats for quite some time and received very little one-on-one human contact. She never learned to trust people or enjoy human companionship. After residing at the shelter from a few years it was determined that Charlotte was not likely to be adopted, and so she came to Tabby’s Place.

Charlotte is a beautiful girl, with adorable gray and white markings. She is mostly blue-gray in color but has a thin white stripe down her nose, white whiskers, a white chest, and white paws.

Charlotte is still very shy with us, but we are working diligently to show Charlotte the benefits of being our friend. To our delight, Charlotte is coming around and will accept treats and even allow us to pet her gently on her head. Some days you can even coax a little purr out of her and she’ll never turn down an opportunity to play which is certainly a good sign. We are hoping that Charlotte will continue to progress, but as she is now, she will need a very patient owner who will be willing to work with her and give her time to come around.
